DAYTON — The Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park has created more stops to its cell phone audio tour. By dialing (937) 401-9985 visitors will now be able to listen 24/7 to more than 30 stories, some narrated by Amanda Wright Lane and Steven Wright, great-grand niece and great-grand nephew of the Wright brothers. Visitors may access the various tour stops in any order or go in sequence for a tour of the park and other sites in and around Dayton, including the Wright Cycle Company, the Paul Laurence Dunbar House, the Engineers Club of Dayton, the Dayton Woman’s Club, McCook Field, and Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum. Visitors also may leave voice comments for park staff to review. A brochure with a map and descriptions of the stops is available at the Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center, the Huffman Prairie Flying Field Interpretive Center and Dayton History at Carillon Park. There is no cost associated with the calls other than the cost of the minutes allocated with your cellular telephone plan. The Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center, 16 S. Williams St., and the Huffman Prairie Flying Field Center, 2380 Memorial Road, and Wright-Patterson AFB are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information, call the National Park Service at 225-7705 or visit www.nps.gov/daav.
