LEXINGTON, VA --
The Stonewall Jackson Museum in Lexington is now offering a new kind of tour for its garden visitors.
A typical tour would take about 30 minutes, but now with the new cell phone tour, visitors can learn about Stonewall Jackson’s relationship to the garden in just 10 minutes.
The new tour also allows visitors to leave comments on their phones at each stop in the garden.
"It was very interesting, I’d never known they had a cell phone tour before and I thought it was a great idea so that you can kind of go at your own pace and see what you want to see and, and umm, skip things you don't necessarily want to find out more about," said Terry Dozier, a tour participant.
The cell phone tour is a pilot project and has been running since last week. http://www2.wsls.com/news/2011/jul/27/stonewall-jackson-museum-adds-virtual-tour-ar-1201272/
