OnCell Reached Agreement with Amherstburg Museums & Galleries

OnCell Systems, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand, location-based multimedia content to cell phones and other mobile devices, announced today it has reached an agreement with the Amherstburg Musuems & Galleries – one of Ontario, Canada's most popular family destinations. OnCell will deliver a cell phone audio tour to historic and cultural points in Amherstburg – including Fort Malden via their OnCell Audio service. Visitors to the town will be able to access interpretive content over their own cell phones via a toll-free phone number. The audio content can also be streamed via web-enabled wireless phones. Amherstburg, Ontario is located at the mouth of the Detroit River about 15 miles south of Detroit, MI. The tour will be free, but visitors will use their cell minutes during the tour. Some content will be available in French. "We're excited to be working with such an historic site" said Kevin Dooley, OnCell Systems' VP of Market Development.
