OnCell Systems, Inc.  is 1st to Launch Tour GeoTagging

Rochester, NY, July 2, 2009 – OnCell Systems, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand, location-based multimedia content to cell phones, announced today the addition of OnCell GeoTagging™ to its’ portfolio of services. This new feature adds to OnCell’s .mobi suite of services directed at the growing number of smartphone users. Now visitors of museums, CVB’s, historic sites, zoos, parks and other venues will be able to use their web-enabled cell phone to open a map to identify points-of- interest where interpretive content is found. "Being the first to provide GeoTagging for our customers is an exciting accomplishment and demonstrates our commitment to being the leading provider of location based multimedia content to cell phones”. said Thomas Dunne, OnCell Systems’ CEO & President. OnCell clients simply use the My OnCell web-interface to identify the latitude and longitude coordinates for each their tour stops. Visitors using smartphones can then use that device to guide their way to the venue’s point-of interests. “The growth of web-enabled smartphones: like iPhones and BlackBerrys are dictating that we provide more mobile technology solutions for our museum, historic site and park customers and prospects” said Kevin Dooley, OnCell Systems’ VP of Market Development.
